Attention is the scarcest thing in a classroom — and students are already giving it away freely, just not to us.
They give it to stories, characters, music, sports, games and the culture moving around them. Teachertainment starts from that simple, stubborn fact and treats it as an opportunity rather than a problem.
Entertainment and culture are not a reward at the end of the lesson. Used well, they are the doorway in: a familiar song that makes narrative structure obvious, a box score that makes ratios matter, a film sequence that teaches close reading better than a worksheet ever could.
Everything we publish is built for educators first. It has to be standards-honest, classroom-ready, and respectful of how little time a teacher actually has between bells. Creativity is the second requirement. Usefulness is the first.
